SCHOOL SUPPLIES NEEDED

Lyndale Lutheran Church will again participate in the WeCan Campaign to collect school supplies for the people who can not afford to purchase them.  WeCan helped over 175 children last year, let’s see if we can increase that number!   The Campaign will run from July 21st to August 18th. A list of supplies is available at the worship center in the narthex.

TEACHERS NEEDED

Although some of the teaching positions have been filled for Sunday School, we still need at least two teachers who would be willing to share their faith in teaching every week or alternating with another teacher.  Sunday school starts on Rally Sunday, September 7 at 9:15 a.m.  Please call Dana Willard at (763) 218-9172 if you are interested.

BUILDING VISION TEAM

The 20 something carpet is giving us the opportunity to assess how our facilities in the sanctuary and fellowship hall will meet our ministry needs for the next 20 something years.  The Church Council is calling together a vision team – to assess our space and ministry, to gather ideas, to bring back to the congregation options for renovation, and gather the necessary funding.  If you are interested in being on this team, please contact Sue Weiland.

THE “ARK” WILL BE LANDING SOON.....

The nursery will be moving into a classroom off the music room.  The theme will be Noah’s Ark.  If you have any decorations that would go with this theme that you would like to donate, please bring to the music room.
